I graduated from Newcastle University as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993. I gained experience working in many different environments including, a variety of NHS Dental Practices across the Northeast, Port of Spain general hospital in Trinidad, a community dental clinic on the Queensland coast and voluntary work for a charity in Romania.I opened Enhance Dental Care in my hometown of Yarm in 2005, with a passion to provide the best customer service and patient experience you can have at the dentist.
I believe post graduate education and continuing professional development are an integral part of successful dental care. I have therefore completed many courses in all aspects of dentistry, delivered by leading figures including Paul Tipton, Chris Barrow, Colin Campbell and more.
I have a special interest in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatments) and completed a post graduate diploma in 2015.
When time allows, I love hiking over the moors with my dog, Nero and trekking up mountains near and far. I also like to grow fruit and vegetables, watch films, and listen to music.
I graduated from Newcastle University as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2003. I have worked in practices throughout the North-East of England, and New Zealand, providing NHS, Independent and Private dental Care.
After qualifying, I developed my skills in general dentistry and undertook my Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons. I have a keen interest in improving patients’ oral health which led me to study dental implants and being awarded my Diploma in Implant Dentistry. This meant that I could really change a patient’s smile, giving them the confidence that a missing tooth can take away.
I strive to be the best dentist that I can be and hope to always improve my treatments and skills. I strongly believe the best one can do in any field is to help others be good at their job too. Over time this has developed into my teaching role as a Clinical Trainer in Oral Surgery in Newcastle Dental Hospital, Clinical Teaching Lead for Stage 3BDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Stage 3 BDS director– something I now do 4 days a week.
I joined Enhance Dental Care in 2021 and thoroughly enjoy being part of a caring and professional team.
When time allows, I enjoy Taekwon-Do, baking and running.
Following the completion of a biological sciences degree at Teesside University, I moved to Preston to study Dentistry at the University of Central Lancashire. In 2016, I qualified with honours and an award for oral surgery.
After qualifying as a Dental Surgeon, I returned to my hometown here in the Northeast where I split my time between a large NHS practice in Stockton and a private clinic in Wynyard. At the beginning of 2024, I made the decision to leave those behind and join the fabulous team here at Enhance Dental Care.
I am dedicated to developing my skills and knowledge of various dental techniques which has led me to attend numerous training courses over the years. These include the bio-clear and smilefast composite bonding courses, Invisalign short term orthodontics and an advanced crown and veneer course.
I have also attended multiple courses to provide facial aesthetic treatments including anti-wrinkle treatment and dermal filler.
I will continue to attend courses and learn the most up-to-date techniques to ensure I can provide my patients with the best possible outcome for their dental and facial aesthetic transformations.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending family time with my husband, little boy and two dogs.
I qualified from Teesside university as a Dental Hygiene Therapist in 2016 with first class honours. Since then, I have had the opportunity to gain experience working in a range of NHS and private practices across the North East.
Having previously worked at Enhance Dental Care providing a maternity cover. I was fortunate enough to gain a permanent position within the team in 2021.
I thoroughly enjoy building a relationship with each one of my patients, making them feel calm, relaxed, and comfortable throughout their appointment.
At home, I am a mum to two daughters. I enjoy fitness classes, walking and weekends in the Lake District.

I graduated from Teesside University in 2023 with a First Class Honours degree in Dentistry. I then completed my foundation year, where I gained valuable experience in NHS General Practice and Community Dental Services.
I now work across both the NHS and private sectors and am delighted to be back at the practice, having previously worked here as a dental nurse in 2019 before heading to university. It’s wonderful to return to a team and environment that feels so familiar.
I am particularly passionate about restoring my patients’ dental health and supporting those who experience dental anxiety. I aim to help every patient feel relaxed, listened to and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting, photography, and spending time with my dog and cat.
I started my Dental Nurse career in 2015 working in a mixed NHS/Private practice. After qualifying in 2017, I went on to complete a Level 5 Management and Leadership Qualification with the Chartered Management Institute. In 2020, I started my journey as a Practice Manager here at Enhance Dental Care.
I love all aspects of my job and thoroughly enjoy being part of an amazing team that delivers the best patient experience we can to all our lovely patients.
I’m usually hidden behind the scenes; however, you will occasionally find me at reception or assisting a clinician in the surgery.
Outside of work I’m kept busy with my two toy poodles – Toto and Brucey, who like to explore new places just as much as I do.
I started my journey as a Dental Nurse here at Enhance Dental Care in 2021. After qualifying, I worked in a mixed NHS/Private practice for a short while before returning to the team here in 2024. It’s good to be back!
I love being part of the patients journey and seeing them smile with confidence at the end of their treatment.
You’ll usually find me assisting a clinician in surgery or welcoming you at reception.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, little girl and dog, Bella.
I started as a Dental Nurse in 2011 working in a mixed NHS/private practice.
I have since qualified in dental radiography and conscious sedation with several years’ experience in minor oral surgery and implants.
You will usually find me assisting a dentist in the surgery or occasionally on reception.
Outside of work I enjoy exploring new places with my husband and two children.
I joined the team here at Enhance Dental Care in 2024. I am currently working towards successfully completing an apprenticeship in Dental Nursing.
My favourite aspect of dentistry is making our patients feel calm, relaxed and comfortable every step of the way.
You will usually find me in the surgery assisting one of our clinicians.
At home, I enjoy watching films and socialising with family and friends.
Following a number of years working as a receptionist in a busy NHS hospital, I joined the team here at Enhance Dental Care in 2024.
My favourite aspect of work is seeing patients leave the practice with a big smile.
In my free time you will usually find me on the Rugby sidelines watching my two teenage sons play or out walking with my husband and labrador, Nola.
I joined the Enhance team in 2025 and am currently working towards completing my apprenticeship in Dental Nursing.
I take great pride in helping patients regain their confidence and love seeing them leave the practice happy with their new smile.
You will usually find me in the surgery assisting one of our clinicians and supporting patients throughout their treatment.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
