Composite Bonding

What is composite bonding?

Composite bonding is a non-invasive cosmetic dental treatment in which a tooth-coloured composite filling material is applied to your teeth.

Their aim is to improve the overall appearance of your teeth allowing you to smile with confidence.

Are you looking to…

Fill the gaps in between your teeth?
Repair chipped teeth?
Improve the shape or size of your teeth?

Composite bonding may be your answer!

Composite bonding can transform your smile by:

  • Closing larger than average gaps between your teeth
  • Covering naturally darker, more yellow tinted teeth
  • Covering any cracks or small chips on the teeth
  • Alter the shape, size and length of teeth that do not complement your facial structure

Composite bonding and composite veneers are different names used to refer to the same treatment.

No. One of the major advantages to composite bonding is that there is no need to remove any tooth tissue therefore there is no damage to your underlying tooth.

Composite bonding can generally be completed in just one appointment. The length of your appointment can vary depending on your needs.

As no drilling is required, there is no need for any local anesthetic injections. Like any treatment, you may experience some mild sensitivity afterwards, but this can be managed with over-the-counter pain relief and will subside within a week or so.

What are my alternative options?

Dental veneers are an alternative option to composite bonding but have the same objective of transforming your smile.
